Article #19: Movies

Gone are the days when people used to sit together in a pleasant evening outside and watch a play just for fun. Now, with all the growth and advancement everywhere, there’s also been a drastic change in the entertainment industry. Earlier, it was a hobby for the actors, but now it has become a full time profession or may be more than that. Can we imagine our life without movies? From younger ones to elders, male or female, every one of us like to watch some or the other kind of movies depending on our interest. Of course, one needs to be entertained, but should also take the impact only in a positive way. This article presents some of the movies that according to me are wonderful and have the values imbibed in them. The first one to mention here is “Wake up Sid”. An amazing story that says not only to follow your passion, but also speaks about the essence of love. As the title says, the story is all about Sid who has grown up, but still behaves in a childish way. It is also about A...

Article#18: School Days

School Days are one of the wonderful days in everyone’s life. Wherever we go, whatever we do, at any point, we cannot experience the same flavour that we do in our school life. The uniqueness lies in the discoveries about ourselves, the environment, the world, day in and day out. Initially we don’t think, slowly we do. Gradually, we get to know many things and by the time, we graduate from the school, we even have some personal things to hide as a person. This kind of learning and development as a human is the most important phase because that leaves its own impact on the society. Here, I would like to present the beauty of school days through this article including my personal experiences. As a kid, we have only our parents and the surrounding neighbours. But, by the time we join a school, we get our second parents in the form of teachers. Yes, in fact it requires a lot of patience for a Teacher to handle students of Kinder Garden. Usually, they cry, they make noise, they fall sic...

Article #17: Politics

The title itself may give a negative feel to most of us because the activities associated with it are in such a way and the consequences result in a member with some special powers. This is the default way in which we consider politics, but the same term is used in various contexts on day to day basis. Here I would like to present this article with a glimpse of politics in various areas, its impact, advantages and disadvantages including my thoughts everywhere. Some people have the perception that heaven or hell exist in the earth itself. Gone are the days when one care about the other truly because these days, for most of the people, their heaven lies only with themselves or limited members surrounding them. To create such heaven on earth, some of them are ready to go to any extent that can be even a crime. In order to control such things, every country has something called the “Law & Order” so that people get abided by some rules and restrictions. Politics play a major role i...

Article#16: ‘Mi’gration

Migration, the term that we use widely when referring to birds. Why do birds migrate? In search of food, proper shelter, better climate or a healthy environment for their upcoming generation. It is not their part of life, but their need for life that enables them to migrate. Now-a- days, it is common thing for most of us as well to migrate to a new place for building up our life. If the place is too far from your native, you see different people, different language, different culture, different tradition, different climate and everything different. What counts is the way we get used to the place, the way we get accustomed to the language, the way we mingle with the people and finally the way we feel that it is our place as well. This article is all about my migration to a city from a small town, to an employee from a college student, to a householder from a hostelite, in short, the transformation from being nothing to something. Although the very first place where I landed with a...

Article#15: Love ‘Reloaded’

It has been a while since you have seen my article on “Love” wherein I mentioned about ‘Universal Love’. However, this time, it is going to be about the love that happens between two unknown people for unknown reasons and even in an unknown way. This article presents the journey of love, all about how this love starts, where it takes you, how it changes you and how it is not finite. This love cannot be defined by any means, it is not something that you choose and do, but is something that happens automatically, sometimes even without your knowledge. You do not find any reasons to love someone, in few cases, it can happen at the first site and in other, it can happen slowly. There are even cases wherein people do not realize that they already fell in love, but an incident or time unveils everything. People say that love starts with friendship. In most of the cases, that is true. You both introduce yourself to each other, become friends, you talk, you find that comfort zone in each...

Article#14: Time

Someone gave an appropriate abbreviation of ‘TIME’ – Things I Must Experience. Yes, Time is experience, it teaches us everything. Even it is that Time is not constant, it changes. whatever that occurs today will not occur tomorrow. Time is precious. Also there’s a saying that ‘Time and Tide no wait for man’. Whatever is supposed to happen will happen, it can be with or without our consent. So, here I am with my 14th article on ‘Time’ to stress on what it is all about. Let me start with the following beautiful lines that quote the importance of Time. To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby. To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train. To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided a...
