Article#37: Love is in the Air
How many of you experienced love in
your life? Great, how about love at first sight? Superb, it’s an amazing
feeling. Isn’t it? We tend to forget everything and everyone around when we are
in love. World looks brighter, days start shining, you smile without proper
reasons, the enthusiasm, energy, excitement, confidence, a blend of emotions
wrapped in you just like a kheer full of cashew, almond, and raisin, after all
love is in the air. Well, this article is about my cooked up stories on this
phrase called “Love is in the air”.
It was the time when I was in
school. Unlike other students in my class, I was calm, decent and little
boring. One fine day during our exams, I was in a daze on what to write because
I didn’t prepare well. I was looking here and there, all of a sudden, the most
beautiful girl in our class smiled at me with an exclamation in her face. I was
confused and looked back, to and FRO to confirm if she was referring me. To my
surprise, she nodded with a yes. I couldn’t understand how to react because I
never talked with her before. But truly speaking, I was happy, very happy. For
a moment, I thought Love is in the Air. Suddenly, she throwed a slip at me due
to which I had to come out of my dream land. My feelings became stronger, I
thought she was trying to help me in the exam and felt very happy looking at
her. Reality appeared to be a way better than my dream land. But in the next
moment, she started doing some weird gestures. I was confused, couldn’t get
anything for a while. In the meantime, my friend sitting beside me grabbed the
slip from my hand. After looking at both of them smiling, I understood the
situation. She wanted me to pass on the slip to my friend. That day I came to a
conclusion that Love cannot be in the air.
Just after some days when I landed
up in my college with the same perception, one more incident happened. I was
having lunch along with my friends discussing all the unwanted stuff in the
world. One of the girls from our batch joined the lunch. Trust me, my friends
are the most mischief fellows on the earth. Just because they found that my
dress color code matched with the girl, they started saying, “Giridhar,
Matching, Matching, What’s cooking?”. Like seriously? The girl looked at me and
smiled. I kept an expression as if I was embarrassed on the question. But
inside, I was happy that there was a match and the girl smiled. To our
coincidence, the next day as well, there was a match. This time, they bugged
both of us to give a party. While I was in my own world fighting with my
perception and the happenings around, the girl came to me and asked to join her
hand saying, “Come on, Giridhar. Let’s throw a party”. That moment changed my perception.
I again felt Love is in the Air. However, within a week, the girl left the
college and the story ended. But it created an impact in me that Love can be in
the air.
I started waiting eagerly to relive
that moment when I finally found someone else. It’s strange that the
interaction began with a fight. But slowly, steadily I experienced many times
the moment that I have been waiting for. Love is in the air. It was precious,
pure, beautiful and worthy. But it had its own complications. Then I understood
why most of the married men regret in general? Why men prefer to be a bachelor?
Why some people give up on everything and love to be a hermit or saint? I
researched on these aspects to find how they came out of the complexity.
Here I found that Love cannot be related to a single person in
your life. It is universal. Love is always in the air where ever we go, it is
up to us to realize and experience it. The beauty of love cannot be conveyed in
words, but it should be felt or expressed in the actions. Ultimately, I was
convinced that Love is in the air now and then. Are you?
