It was October 2024, the day of my Humorous and Evaluation Speech Area Contest. I was much excited to be part of the contest and eagerly waiting for my turn. I gave my best in the Humorous Speech Contest and felt so good on noticing the reactions from the audience. Even during the break time after the contest, there were close to 15 members from the audience who came to me and appreciated my speech. How many of you are married here? Great, Did any of you remember that short span of time, maybe 1 or 2 months just before the wedding? Well, today I am going to talk about that phase from the perspective of a Bridegroom who was brooming away his bachelorhood. It was April 2022 that I got engaged and the wedding date was fixed in the next month. I started inviting my friends, colleagues, relatives and neighbours for the wedding. A mentor is someone who guides the other person in any field. At some point or the other, every one of us need someone’s assistance in a particular aspect or aspects. Do you agree? Now don’t tell me that we can Google or chatgpt everything these days, then I would say they are your mentors.  Well, today I am going to narrate the role of mentors in my life. Starting with my mom, the most important life skill in which she mentored me was cooking. I learnt it from my mom through the phone calls.  "Hello Mom, Tamarind juice was added more in the Tamarind Rice" "That's ok, add some more plain rice. It would balance" "Hello Mom, Sambar is little spicy now" "That's ok, add Jaggery. The taste gets balanced" And the list goes on. I understood that whatever you make, if it isn't up to the mark, you can always repair and even set it as per your expectations. I wonder how I always felt that cooking was a tough job until my mentor mom made it easy...

How many of you went on a solo trip before? Did you feel like travelling solo multiple times after coming from each trip? Well, being an experienced soul on this earth, I prefer going solo every time and today I am going to share one of those stories wherein I encountered with a foreign girlfriend.  It was August 2023, my first visit to the blue city of India, Jodhpur. In order to experience the local culture, I stayed at a homestay in one of the small lanes near ghantaghar or the famous clock tower. Being a history buff, I loved the design of the rooms, walls and even doors that resembled the ancient times. With a view of the mighty Mehrangarh Fort from the window of the room, I felt like living in a different era as if someone was welcoming me by saying, "Sawdhan, Marwar ka Rajkumar, Giridhar padhaar rahe hai".
